Busy, busy times

I am happy to announce that I'll return to my alma mater, Franklin College, to teach a semester on how to write broadcast news. It's going to be a fun semester, but it also means I'll be very, very busy.

Work on Crimsonstreak II continues, and I'm 94% done with this round of revisions. I'm targeting mid-October for submission, so I'm well on my way to doing that.

In addition, I'm working full time in the web department at Fox59, making the next four months a juggling act of epic proportions.

So...about those sparse updates...

I haven't updated the site lately because my priorities have shifted. I returned to working full-time, which has cut down on my writing time. I've been spending most of my nights revision the Crimsonstreak sequel, which is in heavy revisions. I'm about 40% of the way there and hoping to be finished in early-to-mid September. The middle section I just finished required the most rewriting, so I anticipate being able to make some headway in the coming weeks.

I'm hoping to get the book to Candlemark & Gleam by October. I imagine the timeline for the sequel's release will be very similar to the first book's, although I don't know that for sure. C&G has a lot on its table...with some very strong releases in the pipeline.

Production on my current work-in-progress has stalled because most of my time is being spent on Crimsonstreak 2. Other writing activity has also come to an end, and I've decided to hold off on submitting The Franchise until I can really concentrate on it.

Updates will likely be sporadic for the next few months.
